
Go to Control Panel and Choose Bluetooth Devices:

Under the Options tab make sure that Turn Discovery On is checked:

Click on the COM Ports Tab and push the Add… Button:

Choose Incoming and press Ok:

Windows will find a new device (the COM port that you just created) and you will see:

Open ActiveSync in Windows and choose Connection Settings from the File Menu:

This will appear:

Change the COM port to the one you created above:

Change from Automatic to The Internet :

Now we move over to the PPC:
Click on the Bluetooth Icon:
Turn on Bluetooth:
Change to the Devices Tab and click on New Partnership :

After a little searching, it should find your PC, Select it and click next:

Enter a passkey if you wish to use one:

…. Then click Next

Now back to the PC for a moment:
Windows will alert
you that a connection is being requested… Click on the message to accept it:

If you entered a Passkey (above), enter that same Passkey here and click next:

Now this should pop up… just click Finish:

Now back to the PPC:
If you wish you can change the Display Name of the new partnership;
Make sure that ActiveSync is checked:

Yeah, we’re connected….

(on both sides of the link)

On the Today screen you will notice the new “connection” icon:

And now if you launch Internet Explorer:

You are now connected via Bluetooth through your PC.
